Criss Angel

Criss Angel (real name Christopher Sarantakos) hails from East Meadow, New York (on Long Island) and has been interested in the magical arts since age 6. Since that time he has experimented with various methods of performance including his own industrial style music. He was formerly in a band called Angeldust but since then has gone solo with his musical stylings.

Criss Angel has garnered many awards and accolades from his fellow performers. Including 2005 Magician of the Year by The Academy of Magical Arts.

TV and Media Sightings

Aside from his well known Television show Mindfreak on A&E Angel has appeared on many other magic specials on Cable. The Science of Magic, and of course his own One Hour specials Mindfreak and Supernatural. Having performed all over the world and updating classical magic illusions, Criss Angel has created a unique cast of characters and made friends with many well known magicians. He recently became the spokesman for Heineken Premium Light.
